Sabrina Barnes
Fly fishing has been the journey of Sabrina Barnes' life. At the age of 17, she earned her certification as a casting instructor through Fly Fishers International. By the age of 20, she had started her own fly fishing school called Reeltrip. Her involvement in the fly fishing industry has grown ever since. She is also a writer for various magazines and a prominent female angler in Quebec, Eastern Canada. Sabrina holds a bachelor's degree in science education but decided to follow her dreams, spending most of her time teaching fly fishing along the river, from beginner to expert, using both single-hand and Spey rods.

Sabrina is an accomplished angler. She has traveled extensively to fish for a wide variety of species and faced numerous different conditions. She entered competitions to challenge herself, be part of an incredible group of female anglers, and gain more experience on the water. Her skills led her to catch an impressive number of fish, earning her a silver medal at the Canadian Women’s Nationals in 2023 & another silver medal in 2024.
