Martha was born in Colombia, raised in England, and has been living in Canada for the past nine years. She developed a passion for flyfishing and has been participating in competitions from her start when she lived in England and successfully became a member of their National Team Member to positively be accepted to Team Canada.

She received extensive training and coaching under the guidance of some of the most renowned names in fly fishing, both from overseas and within Canada. She has an immense love and passion for the sport, and it dominates her life in every way, it is like a full-time job in her commitment to the sport her team and her country. She is proud to represent Canada and is excited for the upcoming World Championship!

She is excited to meet up with her friends from all over the world and make new acquaintances. “Starting together is just the beginning; continuing together is progress; collaborating together is a success.”
