Katie Morrison
Katie has always loved the outdoors, and after discovering fly fishing a decade ago, considers it a core way of connecting with wild places and people. Her passion for fly fishing drives her to fish year-round and across different landscapes allowing her to develop a deep understanding of different fly-fishing techniques, water bodies, fish species, and fish behaviors.

Katie is a leader in several conservation, fishing and hunting organizations, and regularly delivers presentations on the role of anglers in fish and fish habitat conservation. She is also dedicated to building connecting and raising up women in fishing.

She recently participated in the 2024 Women’s National Fly Fishing Championship in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, placing silver in the teams division, and looks forward to continuing her journey of shared learning and community building with the Canadian Women’s Team.
