Kaith Palmaria
Kaith began fly fishing in 2020, unearthed it's community and unparalleled source of inspiration and fulfillment. As a Board Director for the Calgary Women's Fly Fishing Club and Advisory Committee Member for Rising to the Fly, she is deeply involved in fostering an inclusive environment for female anglers. With unwavering dedication, she commits her time and effort to not only pursue her own love for fly fishing but also to cultivate a community where women can feel confident, safe, and empowered to explore and adventure in this sport. When she's not fishing, or working as a Registered Nurse, Kaith can be found working at Out Fly Fishing, a local fly shop in Calgary, Alberta.

Kaith participated in the first Women's Alberta Lake Fishing competition in 2022 out of sheer determination to learn more about fly fishing. Since then, she has competed and qualified for both the 2024 and 2025 National Fly Fishing Canada's Women's teams. During the 2023 Canadian Women's National Competition Kaith secured a bronze medal in individuals and a gold in teams. During the 2024 Canadian Women's National Competition Kaith secured a bronze medal in individuals and a gold in teams.
